How Emblematic Are The Numbers

As I have been working with the Spirits of the Mansions of the Moon and writing about it I realized that I very rarely referred to any of the Mansions by number. It strikes me just now that perhaps I have been missing a piece. In thinking about it I also realize that I don't think of the spirits of the Lemegeton by number either. Is the numerology important to anyone out there?
I know, of course, that the sequence is important but I never used a number to signify either of these groups of spirits. There are probably other examples of which I am not familiar.
