Interesting article - Iceland folk magic - necromancy

Hi there,
I've found interesting article. Not sure if this is a hoax or fantasy, but since it was in the museum of witchcraft I hope you find it interesting. The 'Necropants'

For me it's most similar to the 'hand of glory' but since I am not much into necromancy, I'd love to hear any stories of similar practices in different cultures.
The most fascinating prart is the combination of fetish, necromancy and sigil magic that takes place here.
