Right now I can look out the back door and see, right to left, the Scorpion, the Centaur, and the Sea-Goat. The bright full moon is obviously in the sign of Capricorn by this measure. By the Tropical reckoning, what most people in the US are using on their computers, it is in the sign of Aquarius.

If a person were to use this opportunity to make the figure of the 22nd lunar mansion, the head of the goat in Capricorn, it is "bad for marriages." But if you use the Tropical system, it is the 24th mansion in Aquarius and that is "good for marriages." They have other different attributions, but enough to say that they aren't equivalents.

If you were an astrological wedding planner, or someone hoping to use the election for talismanic purposes, which of the two would you consider appropriately timed?

Especially for those who ever made lunar mansion talismans or spells during the time that the moon was there, did you figure out the lunar position with the software or did you observe it to determine the planetary ruler?

If you use the sky for this kind of talisman or spell, what about the other planets, are their elections also observed or does everyone use calculations?
