What, in your view, happens on a non-human level on the Internet?
I have heard many ideas. Some people speak of egregores on groups or sites. Some people speak of sites such as Facebook being parasited. Some people say that jinn run around on the mobile phone networks. A recent post on the Perseus site mentions regarding AI that "it’s human hopes and fears that become conscious. No doubt, the excitement of technologies such as AI leads to an unconscious creation of elementaries."
I feel there is a big similarity between concept of AI and non-human entities. I suspect that, if technology continues developing, a technology could emerge that a spirit could take over in a long-term, stable manner, and use for communication. I have no proof for this except for the fact that spirits and the Universe grab ahold of technology for short bursts of time and produce very short messages and synchronicities.
