Studio Arcanis

So I've been reading Donald Tyson's Kinesic Magick and it seems like Tyson holds steadfast to a "left is receptive, right is projective" paradigm. Being left handed myself, I've never felt fully comfortable with this, but have seen quite a few occult authors push this line of thinking. Given that my left hand is my dominant one, I tend to feel like my left side is my more projective side and my right is my more receptive one...but the insistence of so many authors that I'm just doing things backwards makes me question my work.

Any other southpaws out there? How has the left-right receptive-projective dichotomy worked out for you in your magickal career?
