Studio Arcanis

So this was an experience that happened to me that I thought was interesting, maybe some people on here could possibly shed some light on what I encountered. I woke up around 3 am after spending most of the day practicing my spiritual exercises. I looked around my room and saw a very large astral creature in the form of mantis. The creature just walked around looking at my various books and equipment. At first I was frozen, but I banished it by drawing a pentagram in astral light. Needless to say it took awhile to get back to sleep. I've been wondering what this thing was, I know in some alien enthusiasts talk about insectoids, or maybe there's some spirit that commonly takes the form of a mantis. Just thought I'd put this out there if anyone has any past experience similar to this or information that might help.
