I've been trying to get into the occult for a while. I haven't got into the actual starting of it, aside from using a tarot deck, doing a couple failed spell attempts with singles my reaching gnosis through masturbation, and an EXTREMELY successful love spell a while back... Which made the girl cheat on her boyfriend I never knew about with me.
I'm told to practice meditation till I can keep the blank mind state of gnosis for 10 seconds, than work on visualization meditation. I think this is only necessary for servitors, maybe not even necessary for that. I have faith I can do a lot already, because of the amazingly efficient love spell I mentioned above. All I did to invoke that spell was trace a heart in dirt, rub my hands together fast to make heat, and than put my hand on the traced heart and visualized transferring energy into it.
So what does everybody suggest to get started? My first goals are to be able to do sigil magick and make a servitor.
edit: I just learned that I've always been able to enter a visualization meditated state all my life.
