Just to update: I tried BBB's way of pronouncing Arzel - ARE ZALE (making sure I pronounced ZALE with a flatter intonation instead of saying ZAYLE as I was doing! ) and that seems to be working a lot better. Thanks to BBB.

I'm wondering if any of the NAP spirits are capable of binding another person or spirit? Been looking at the invocations and evocations at the back of the book and I can't see anything relating to binding.
