Tattvic Tides

Seeing as one of the subtitles of this category is 'Elemental Magic' I'm posting this here. I'm wondering if anyone here incorporates the use of the Tattvic Tides in planning rites. For those of you who may not be familiar with them I provide the following.

Beginning at sunrise the Tattvic Tides flow from east to west in 2 hour cycles; starting with Akasha, each Tide lasts 24 minutes and once a cycle is complete another begins again giving us a total of 12 Tattvic cycles per day.

The Tattvas flow in the following order:

Akasha - Spirit (symbolized by an Indigo Oval)
Vayu - Air (symbolized by a Blue Disk)
Agni - Fire (symbolized by a Red Triangle)
Apas - Water (symbolized by a White or Silver Crescent)
Prithivi - Earth (symbolized by a yellow square)

The Tides can be utilized as alternatives to or in conjunction with the planetary hours. The symbols of the Tattvas themselves, like most symbols, can also be used for scrying in which capacity we find them utilized by the Golden Dawn.

I found a Tattvic Tide calculator here: http://www.royalvibes.com/content/view/12/41/
