Theurgia-Goetia

Hi guys,

Are there any hidden requirements for calling on the aerial spirits listed in the Theurgia-Goetia? The practice seems too easy. The author even seems to joke about how hard it would be to screw up a conjuration of these spirits. Some, but not most of the spirits are constrained by the planetary hours. Some are liars, but more are helpful. The kicker is that they all have the same office, so, unless I'm completely backassward, you can call upon the handsome, kindly, truthful, non-timing constrained spirits to do the same work as that done by the more problematic spirits. There aren't even any suffumigations. The potential of these spirits seems great, and the ease of the method makes me think that there is a catch somewhere...

Why would one conjure one of the problematic spirits from this Grimoire anyway?
