Rewarding spirits

The topic of punishing disobedient spirits comes up a lot, but what about rewarding obedient ones? Say, you evoke a spirit, it does what you tell it to do well, how do you reward it?
I thought that this would be a nice change from the "do you torture them" line of questioning that pops up on internet discussion groups, and could lend to a nice and practical sharing of information!
