The Circle

Ok, since tools have been coming uo quite a lot in topics I want to ask a question. What is the easiest way to construct the magic circle? How is it possible to create something durable that can be reused again and again? What is the best way to make the circle exact? Does a giant geometry compass need to be constucted out of wood or is there a better way? Can anyone here please share their experience in circle construction and give me some advice to make this important tool cheaply, efficiently, and as per the requirements? Thanks in advance
