Beginning folk magick recommendation

I've spent a lot of years working on things from the spirit side of magick and I've been thinking of adding more material material to my magick, both folk magick and chemistry. But, I've checked both familial and the local area. Bupkis when it comes to folk magick. The chemistry part isn't gonna be that difficult to work with.

So, when one is not around anything with any known folk magick (and are living in the north east US), is there a book recommendation for folk magick? Something that gives a good solid base. It can be voodoo, hoodoo, witchcraft, american indian, whatever. As long as it's something good.
