Do any of you read the fiction books by Douglas Preston and Lincoln and Child that feature FBI Agent Aloysius Pendergast as the protagonist? They always have a metaphysical bent to them. For example in the one I'm reading now, I'm at a scene where Agent Pendergast is doing some astral projecting into the past to check out a crime scene. The last book I read had a tulpa, and one before that had a story line about conjuring up demons. Anyway, they are usually very well and intelligently written, and its nice to see some of these metaphysical subjects in mainstream fiction.
