By Rankine and some chick (I believe his wife)
I am reading this book and although it does contain some useful practical information, I am actually annoyed by the level of mis-information, especially in the evocation section. Rankine touts himself as quite the adept, but seriously his knowledge and practical experience do not make themselves evident in this short book.
Some examples that I came across on my 17 minute train journey into work:
1) Evocation of Planetary Spirits usually occurs into a triangle?
2) The triangle is there to contain the spirits, like a cage?
3) The spirit may be busy completing some task and so may not come when called?
FFS the last one really made me angry as it shows a really limited and poorly thought out idea of what a Spirit actually is.
