More of a tip than a discussion though would be interesting to hear others thoughts/experience:
The Ruggeberg translation is much looser and makes much more sense to me. The Merkur edition by contrast reads in a much more specific manner but left me with lots of questions which were only clarified after I read Dieters translation.
For anyone working with either, I would recommend studying the other.
