Before one has created an authentic temple

Is there any way to get into contact with the angels on what would be OK to use as a replacement before I am able to afford the time and money to gather and create all the authentic tools for an enochian temple. I've read this being recommended before, but I am unsure how to do this.
Any suggestions?
