Are the orisha elevated ancestors.
If so, do the different trad. sacrifice to empower these ancestral spirits.
My question is asked because I do not know whether the gods themselves teach priests, or if the elevated men and women do. If it is elevated ancestors, the whole schema goes into a new perspective for me.
