Vodou and Ghede and Traditional Vodou

Does anyone practice Haitian Vodou, or the Orginial Traditional Vodou from Benin, of the Yourba King and the Ghedevi.. is anyone familiar with what im talking about.. how the Ghedevi were a tribe of grave diggers, and the Yourba king was afraid of them and their magic so he sold them into slavery.. I dont have the whole story right, I know it, but it signifies the Start of Ghede, but I know Vodou has been practiced since they say before Adam and Eve. maybe some Vodou practicioners can shed some light on this, especially ones who learned it in africa.. Which I believe Vodou is a word from Haiti? I might have this ALL screwed up.. but hey, I have researched.. whether correctly or incorrectly, I hope we can all conversate.
