One weird symbol

You know, these days I was browsing some musics in the Youtube and I stumbled across this rapper:

Very nice music by the way. But one question got in my mind: What is that "ponto" he's wearing? I can't identify the entity. Since he call himself a Hoodoo Practicioner, I went researching symbols of Lwas and I came across this:
I think it's the symbol in his jacket:
But the only info that I found on this sigil it is from a Lwa called Eshu...but Eshu is a form of spelling Exu, which is a title, as you might know.
Now I'm confused...there's a Lwa called Eshu? Where the hell did it come from? Why that name?
By the way, I'm not Juggalo.
