If you look at the black part only, you can see the black squares forming the number 333 with an emphatized 33.
This seems to refer to chapter 33 of Aleister Crowleys "Book of lies" (wich is officially numbered 333).

There is also another typical configuration.
It's arranged in a square, that stands on it's edge and goes like this:
