The Real Square of Mercury

This will be my first real post and I apologize if it's not exactly an in depth topic on witchcraft. After much excitement in discovering this world of magick my ignorance in the field is glaring so I've been spending a lot of time studying and trying to organize my thoughts.

I've been going through Mastering Witchcraft by Paul Huson and have put a bit of energy getting all my supplies put together. I've got the basics and I'm now to the point where I'd like to do the most basic, legitimate divination (whereas I've really just been winging it up until now). I would like to invoke Mercury and plan to use the Square of Mercury as laid out by Huson. Here is the idea of the Square of Mercury: you have a square grid of 8 x 8 squares, in each square is written a number from 1 to 64, however they appear to be written at random around the board. The point is if you add up each line, both horizontally and vertically, they will add up to 260. The problem is, as Huson has printed them in the book, two of the lines are out of order, a sort on encryption on his part I am guessing. So I added up each line and found there are two vertical lines that require a set of numbers to be swapped around, the problem is 5 of the 8 numbers will complete the Square of Mercury if you turn them around.

So, my question is, does anyone know if there is a specific order of numbers that make up the actual Square of Mercury, or does it only matter that the circuit is completed so that each line adds up to 260? I'm guessing it's the latter but if anyone does know what THE Square of Mercury is I'd be very appreciative. I've included the Square as Huson prints it in his book below.

8 58 59 5 4 62 63 1 = 260
49 15 14 52 53 11 10 56 =260
41 23 22 44 48 19 18 45 =260
32 32 38 29 25 35 39 28 =260
40 26 27 37 36 30 31 33 =260
17 47 46 20 21 43 42 24 =260
9 55 54 12 13 51 50 16 =260
64 2 3 61 60 6 7 57 =260
