Firework Magick: A Few Suggestions

Blame it on the season, but I have been thinking lately of magickal use for fireworks and new year's rockets. I mean, better putting them to good use than be waken in the middle of the night by drunken revellers, shooting rockets in every directions... 
An idea is that one could bind a note with a humble request or prayer, straight up to the Starry Heavens. Or you could send up a symbol for some unwanted aspects of one's personallity, to see it disapear in a glorious blaze of heavenly fire. I imagine similar applications also fore those more serene flying thai lantern-balloons.
