When working with nature spirits and you are recommended to 'bury some fruit' as an offering... do it 
Also... feel free to take it one step further and plant a seed to grow a fruit tree... for fruit is a gift from gaia... free food for all... a gift from gaia and the nature spirits... offer a seed and in return you will receive the gift also commonly referred to as the tree of life
