A - Wooden wand is a no no. Your wand SHOULD BE a copper tube - one magnet in one end (preferably neodenum) then fill wand with both iron filings and magnetite powder - then one magnet at the other end. SEAL both ends can be silver or gold (SEALS OR WAND) would be good, no crystal however. Your wand USES BIO ELECTRICITY like CHI. Your wand is SELF DEFENCE.
B - Your athame SHOULD BE of crystal for best purposes. Your athame can be a crystal piece doesnt have to look like an athame although you can buy them expensive though. The reason is that your atahme is used to draw your photonic energy circle and pentagrams etc etc. Crystal stores photonics. With a goodly enrgized crystal athame you might expect it to literally glow, and it is this principal that allows you to draw your photonic visualizations FOR REAL. Your crystal athame is creative photonic bio luminescence.
