Ghost Box Evocation

Has anyone tried an evocation ritual with a ghost box. I was going to give it a go but the type of radio that is needed is only sold in America, as the company that sells them will not ship items outside the U.S. due to verification of foreign banks for payment. Anyway I will have to do a little more research to try and find out what type of radio I can convert to a ghost box that is sold in the U.K

It may or may not work but I think it would be an interesting experiment and I would like to hear about any experiences from anyone who has tried it.
