If my understanding of the term 'thoughtform' is correct, shouldnt god qualify as one? a billion christians worship 'god' and a billion muslims worship 'allah'. should these not be vastly powerful thoughtforms, maybe even a separate entity by now? and if so why has no one ever worked with him?
most of us on this board and people who practise similar magick and have similar philosophies percieve god as the source, the ultimate and all-encompassing consciousness or the pool from which everything comes. but modern chrisitians, jews or muslims worship an aspect of this god, the bible clearly depicts 'god' as an intelligent being, capable of talking to his followers. obviously this is not the true view of god as we know (or dont) but an imagination, the god-person exists only within the minds of its followers. the holy scriptures have described god so meticulously it is not hard to pretend there is a person up there, but there isnt. so technically this person should be a thoughtform, and because about half the world spends all their waking day praying and thinking about it i think it wuld have gained enough energy to exist independently of any mind, this then makes it real. not the creater of the universe but a creation of the mind.
