It appears that in every book I own on the occult (minus grimoires) that visualisation is a key skill that must be mastered, be that imagining something to be there, and then mastering the other senses whilst visualising such as sound, touch etc
In most ceremonial rituals visualisation is also important. Most notably any act of casting a circle or even the LBRP causes you to visualise a light or energy streaming out of your hands/dagger.
So what is the deal with visualisation, do you believe in its power? Or is it unnecessary? Is all of magick actually in the end just mostly visualisation?
