I have seen a number of books and websites list the various magical correspondances of trees and herbs and spices and colors, planets, metals, hours, etc... I doubt there is a single authoritative source, but can anyone tell me how such information is derived? Particularly for trees, gemstones, etc... Or (and this part of the question may belong in the books forum, I beg indulgence) point me in the direction of some respected works dealing with these?
