I've been doing some reading and found several sources that seem to thing Satan is an ok guy. There seem to be trends in why they think that. They generally fall into one of these categories.
1.Lucifer and Satan are different people. Lucifer brings knowledge but Satan is still an asshat.
2.God is full of himself. Satan understands our hedonistic needs and wants to help.
3.God is the real bad guy he just wrote the bible to make it seem like the other way around to gain more followers.
4.Satan isn't real but this other guy (that seems awfully familiar to Satan) is real and is the true path to happiness. (one of these theories claimed that Cthulhu is real and is a good guy).
there are more but they all come back to the general idea that Satan is a ok guy. What do you guys think? I'm quite skeptical but still interested in theories.
