Wand consecration

Im looking for a general wand consecration to work with. GD stuff that ive found are for specific wands and I dont really want to make a rainbow wand right now. There is a ritual in Summoning Spirits, but im not sure of the effectiveness of it. Is it a good one? There are so many opinions that say this is right and good and then 5 posts later, another is bad mouthing the original post. Im looking for a general direction with god names and a little more than the wiccan 'invite the elements in' ceremony.
