Hey, okay, I'd like to start a discussion/ debate about Astrology.
So, would love to see ChronosSpeaks, maybe Chrysophylax, and all the usual suspects, plus anyone else who would chime in.
Seems like an interesting roundtable discussion.
I'll start first, I think Natal charts are very interesting, but I have never seen astrology be in any way predictive as long as the person concerned didn't already know of the prediction.
Beyond the problems of precession with modern, western astrology, it seems solipsistic and very much like pareidolia ... the complexity allows humans to see whatever "animals" they choose in the essentially stochastic background noise, ie clouds.
Ground rules: attack the arguments as snarky as you like, but not the person.
