Astrology - useless without prior knowledge

I posted about this years ago but in lieu of a facebook discussion, I thought I'd revamp the old discourse into a new thread.
For being an occultist, I'm extremely level-headed and practical. I don't just accept any ideas. I researched natal astrology and all that for years. I calculated that shit down to the n-th degree before throwing it all out the window. The issue I found with astrology is that it means absolutely nothing: you have to learn about it before it means anything. It's a learned "magic"; And, on top of that - the constellations change when we leave earth. So it means absolutely nothing on other planets.
