Methodes for cleaning the aura

Are there methodes for clearning the aura that don't apply visualisation. For-example using crystals or symbolic acts or spirits? I use a bell to ring counterclockwise after the ritual but it's to begin and ending the ceremony. I'm not sure it cleans the aura during the vibrations in the air.
