Other types of guardian angels?

Besides the HGA. Like a macrocosmic angel.
For example, if have a friend who claims Gabriel is his guardian angel. Not in the sense of HGA or Higher Self.
Maybe angel of profession? Although he says it's more than that. Is it possible for people to have these types of angels (like the four) as guardians? I mean naturally, since birth. I know it is possible for an angel to fancy someone and become a guardian for that person, but that's not what I'm referring to.
I'd be interested to know your takes on this.
