Anybody have any swords they recommend? Is Hanwei stuff ok or utter heresy? One-handed or two-handed? Medieval, Renaissance, or modern? Curved or straight? I have some swords I'm looking at, but more for HEMA purposes, but I wanted some input as to what the folks around here have in their armouries.
I don't have the setup or the know-how to forge stuff at home, and custom forged stuff gets super expensive, but do mass-produced weapons have any bad associations that conflict with ritual work?
