I met my totem a while ago, every magician seems to have one or two at least, too.
It has guided me thru a lot of challenges and learning till today,
when i feel the thankful to him/her, same time i m wondering why totem appears as the guide?
why not a man , why not a plant ?
of course there r cases it appears as a man or plant,
but mostly the astral guide appears to us r totems.
i m wondering why the spirit realm works like this , as totem?
(and totemism is oldest tradition, too )
