Having come across several methods for generating Daemon names (be it Agatho, Kako or personal Genius) through Agrippa, Greer and others I'm wondering if anyone is acquainted with these methods and if they've been used. It occurred to me to start this thread after recently using Frater Quaero Lux' 'Daimon Name Calculator' (http://quaerolux.com/?p=412) with the instructions on Frater R.O.'s site (cause I suck at astrology http://headforred.blogspot.com/search?q=daimon) I got two names as you'll see from Quaero's site.
Now I know modern mages like to insist on performing rituals like Crowley's Liber Samekh to achieve the 'Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel' in which, it is assumed, the 'Angel' communicates its name. While the techniques for name generation might seem mechanical and out-dated I'm thinking we should avoid getting caught up in 'orthodox' magical perspective. Anyhow I just posted this for others interests, if you follow the two links above you should be able to generate a series of names rather easily (took me about ten minutes).
