How To Win A Job

Ok I know there are lots of threads about finance, but I couldn't find anything suitable for jobs. I am on the job market now and am posting my CV for an open position which is very unlikely to get and in this town such positions in international companies are of rare nature to occur. Any ideas of goetic or other way of winning this position?
