Sephiroth and paths

Hey all,
just looking through some books I notice that some of the sephiroth share their planet with another path. For eg. to the sephiroth of HOD, Mercury is attributed. Mercury is also attributed to path two (letter Beth).
What's the deal here? how come the same planet is attributed to two different items in the tree of life?
