i have a new telescope ,9.25 cpc celestron sct, and i just bought a new tamaya sextant.
my question is viewing the planets and stars up close discovering what they look like first hand (not in a book), can this bring a closer relationship to understanding ,,, like a photograph of a friend vs meeting in person?
i have a good idea where to start , the planets i was born under and the angel of that hour of birth and day.
is there a list or book i can consult for angels and corresponding planet.
the sextant is for learning moon and sun time, plotting land features and of course using planets for navigation.
does anyone have any experience is these two areas ?
i have a chance to start a study group of like minded people in my small town much like this group so i am seeking advice.
