astral evocation with tarot trumps?

Hi.Anyone had a successful astral evocation using the major Arcana?I made some research cause i want to try it but i bump in into a few obstacles: like the angels of the paths and the trumps are not the same, which i considered to be the same because they are directly related to each other.Now i m not sure which angel to cal with a specific card, the one related with the trump or the one related with the path, or i could use the same trump to evoke both of them.
So as u see i could use a little help .
