I'm an absolute beginner, by the way; I just found this forum a few days ago - I'm very new to this stuff. I have a question concerning the "circles" you draw when evoking. I've gathered (I think) that the primary purpose of a circle is to protect the practitioner from the spirit. But what do you use to draw these circles? Do you just draw on the floor with a piece of chalk? Sorry if it's a dumb question, but the whole circle thing has baffled me for the past few days...
