Hi I noticed if I work with one planetary influence at a time, I seem to get better results than if I try to call in multiple influences per ritual. I don't know if that is a coincidence or not. But I have my alter in the eastern side of my tiny apartment so that when I communicate I communicate facing east like how I learned in "Modern Magick during banishing/invoking ritual". I don't have much space.
Do you work with more than one type of spirit (ancestors, planetary influences, dieties, etc)? How do you respectfully make sure to do an effective communication?
I've started to put multiple "guests" on the same alter but I've heard in some traditions that's a big no no. I have no tradition because I am learning on my own.
