The prefix "Arch-" comes from the greek ἄρχειν which means "to command".
For example, the term Archangel means "the chief of the angels".

Therefore Archarzel should be the one who command over Arzel.

I haven't practice the secrets, but I've read most of the book and I don't like it.

The author claims that it's easier than NAP, but that's just not true.
