Re: Consistency and Discipline

As mentioned, incorporate magic into your daily activities. Don't fall into the trap of compartmentalizing your life between a sacred and profane. When everything is sacred, every act becomes a magical act. Additionally, take 2 minutes to simply make an offering of gratitude to nature, your deity(i...

Re: Consistency and Discipline

I agree with the habits that fit into your lifestyle which WR mentioned. A huge breakthrough for me was when I learned to do much of my work with smoke and song. I play music all the time, and I like to smoke herb - so discovering how to use these two activities for magic was incredibly helpful for ...

Re: What do i need to do with this Grimoire?

Could even just be your mental association with the person and the book. I doubt the spirits are dependent on yu having a pure and clean untouched copy of the book in your hands..... Sounds like you have some letting go and moving on to do :whistle

Re: NAP - unconnected?

I abandoned the Magic Mentor entirely, most of the time I felt like I was just talking to myself or telling myself what I wanted to hear. When you can't distinguish between you're own intellect or that of something 'other' (assuming the mentor isn't a direct link to the sub-conscious) things become...

Re: i am new to th forum

Belief is not required at all. When I didn't believe in spirits, one saved my life anyways.

I have seen many people have beliefs turned upside down when they encounter real magic. Real magic requires no belief - only skill as prov states earlier.

Belief is a helpful tool! Just not required.

Re: Done with nap and mystic grimoire

That was inspirational, i found a book about the subject by Denning&Philips and their approach seems very well suitable for me, like IIH of just Astral Projection. Another chance is i'm wanting to travel Peru after my graduation and at that time i will ask for your advice if you know any good t...

Re: Done with nap and mystic grimoire

Certain styles of magic just dont vibe with me, and are not effective for me at all, but I watch others use them well. This is because of resonance and passion. You have to find what resonates with you and what you have passion for. Trying to do a practice everyday which bores you is horrible. It su...

Re: Done with nap and mystic grimoire

You are assuming a lot about this poster. Maybe instead of assuming they only tried once, you should ask. Remember, helping starts with listening. You could be right, and maybe they are lazy and give up quick, or you could be wrong - maybe they have been trying this system for 2 years without luck. ...

Re: Done with nap and mystic grimoire

What i see here is you are quitting magick because you got a B- instead of an A on a grade of some schoolwork. What you fail to see is that, perhaps whatever forces you were working with wanted to teach you a lesson, that they are not there to help you get good grades... that you are better off spe...
