Re: Candle incident with Elubatel

Interesting. After a successful evocation, you should not blow out the candle. Do this with your own fingers. If it was not a success, or you think it was not a success, blow it out. Otherwise, do it with your own fingers. That is at least how I always do. Someone when I was a 5 year old kid told me...

Re: A list of reference material for Hekate research.

monsnoleedra, I believe if you wrote a book about Hekate, you could be acknowledged as the best expert on that subject .And how do you want us to call you shortly, because it is very difficult to remember your name?

Re: Starting things off w/ an article by Leonardo Drakon

IMO there should be many differet influences on peoples' believes and practices in ancient time such as: 1. Aristocratic view - though I am still not sure what it is, but sounds good enough to me 2. Folk magic as seen through GMP 3. Official cults centered around the temples 4. Mystery cults such as...

Re: Starting things off w/ an article by Leonardo Drakon

A very interesting article. A good one too. I found amazing that according to our member Leonard Drakon there was an aristocratic and also a rural way how ancients gods were approached and understood. Re: (My thoughts on) Elubatel's negative effects

His time frame is in the now which might be to us days or hours or weeks When you say now, I guess it is less than a sec. Non-time at all. But probably this is also which makes one eternal. Some spirits are like that, we are not. Well, what we are expected to experience in our life-time, maybe it a...

Re: Odd Insights into Hekate

monsnoleedra, thanks for your explanation. I was thinking about this the way you explained, but unlike you, I have not explored Hecate as deeply and thoroughly as you did, so yes, I'd say your comment is precious and should be remembered.

Re: Odd Insights into Hekate

monsnoleedra :goodpost What I am going to write below are not my thoughts at all, but I tried to summarise some more modern interpretations of Hecate. So I wonder what you think what can be right and what can be wrong from the below few sentences . Yes, off course, I would also like to hear Pablo's ...

Re: Pronunciation of Words of Power

Jokes aside now.

Wrong! Sorry, my previous post was wrong!

Chai should not be pronounced "sh", like in "shop", "share", etc...but like "h" (hotel, home, house).

I am really sorry for making this confusion.
